How buying works (direct purchase)

Use search and categories to find the right listing. Check photos, description and condition, and look at the seller's rating.

With shipping, you order with “Buy” and pay through Fundort (card/TWINT). The amount is held in escrow until you confirm receipt. Never pay the seller directly here and never outside the platform — otherwise buyer protection does not apply.

With pickup, no money runs through Fundort: you get in touch straight away and pay the seller at the handover. In exchange you inspect the goods before you pay — there is no buyer protection on pickup.

For shipping, the seller sends the item. The process – pickup/shipping details, status and confirmations – runs via emails and notifications; the chat is only for follow-up questions. Never exchange contact details in free-text fields.

Once received, confirm the item – the seller then gets paid out. Afterwards you review each other.

For shipping purchases the seller marks the parcel as shipped. You're notified by email and notification and can see the shipping status in "My purchases", including a tracking link to the carrier if a tracking number was provided.
