Guide: Services & jobs
How to offer a service or a job listing — contact happens directly via chat.
1. Create the listing
Describe your offer or the job with photos and details. Contact details are allowed in the listing.
2. Listing fee
A one-time fee depending on the runtime. Your listing goes live immediately — you do not pay up front, the fee goes on your next invoice. There is no commission on closed deals — only the listing fee.
3. How people get in touch
That depends on what you list.
For a service, many sub-categories have the quote flow: the customer describes the job, you answer with price, scope and validity, they accept or decline. Whether it exists is set per sub-category — where the price is already in the listing (tutoring, massage, a course) the button does not appear at all. See the "Quote" topic.
For a position, people apply with documents. You accept or turn down and can invite them to an interview. See the "Applying for a job" topic.
Everything else still runs through the chat. In both cases there is no platform transaction and no success fee — what you agree, you agree between yourselves.
An appointment request you do not answer expires automatically once the requested appointment begins: it cannot be fulfilled by then, and the requester gets a decline instead of waiting indefinitely.
4. More visibility
Optionally you can make your listing more visible with a boost.
Area covered and details
When you post a service, there is a separate section for the details customers search by. The most important one is the area you cover.
You tick the cantons you work in. That is not the same as your location: someone based in Aarau who also works in Olten ticks AG and SO — otherwise nobody from Olten will find them in the service search. Without an area, you only appear for customers in your own place.
Next to it are the questions people would otherwise ask you in the chat: do you come to the customer or do they come to you? Can it be done remotely? Is travel included? From what amount do you turn out? Free quote, emergency service, weekends, liability insured.
All of it is optional — but every detail is a filter you show up in. Provide nothing and you are found less often.
And what you tick is a commitment, not advertising copy. We do not verify it; but in a dispute a ticked box is a statement of fact, whereas a sentence in the description is not.
