You can’t access your second factor. In almost every case this is solved in a minute — look at the first two points before ordering a letter.
Then your phone’s clock is usually wrong. Codes are calculated from the device time; if it is more than a minute off, every code is wrong. Set date and time to automatic in your phone settings (in Google Authenticator also: Settings > Time correction for codes) and sign in again.
The eight codes you received during setup work instead of the app. Enter one of them in the normal code field when signing in — each works exactly once. That is the fastest route and needs nothing else.

This route costs money: printing and postage are not paid by everyone else, but by whoever triggers the letter. You see the exact amount before you order.
